TABLE OF CONTENTS

There are nine different question types to engage learners in your course. When building questions, you can choose from auto-graded, manually graded, or non-graded question types.

'+ Questions'

  • Select the question type, input your question, and answer choices as needed. Select the correct answer, assign a point value, and select 'Save'.

Question Types

When choosing a question type, keep in mind that some of the questions will automatically be graded, need to be manually graded, or not have a grade associated with them.

  • Auto-graded question types - multiple choice, multiple select, matching, and sorting
  • Manually graded question types -  short answer, video and audio
  • Non-graded questions types - single response poll and multiple response poll

Editing Questions

Edit a question by selecting the edit icon found on the question content title bar.

Note: If the question has been published and some learners have already completed the question, you will need to choose to save their previous responses or reset their progress.

Create a Multi-Question Quiz

Use the question content block to create a quiz. Toggle from single question to multi-question quiz above the question types. When creating a quiz you can only use auto-graded question types. Refer to 'Multi-Question Quiz' to learn more.
