RFA Lead Reviewer: Completing a Review

• Completing an Application Review

You'll complete an RFA Application Review within LDOE's Canopy. As the Lead Reviewer, you are also able to monitor the progress and view the other Reviewer(s) application reviews. 

Access the assigned RFA application by logging into LDOE's Canopy and choosing 'I'm here to Lead' and login with LDOE using your My.La credentials. 

Completing an Application Review

From the RFA Dashboard, you will see the RFA(s) you have been assigned to review. Your name will be listed in the Lead Reviewer column. You can view the other assigned reviewers listed in the Reviewers column. 

Select the applicant's name to view their application and begin your review. 

When opening the application you will be able to view all submitted information within each section. Expand a unit using the carrot icon found next to the section title. 

You can make annotations on any PDF submission. They can be used to organize your thoughts and evidence to add to the Review Table. Only you can view your annotations.

Use the Review Table to view the Indicators, Questions, and Scoring Criteria provided by the Guide Owner. As the Lead Reviewer you will have multiple tabs within your Review Table. 

Individual Reviews - Here you will see your own name, along with the other reviewer(s) who have submitted their review. You will complete your own review in your Review Table. Use the arrows to view scores and evidence provided by the other assigned reviewer(s).

Summary of Reviews - In this tab, you can view an overview of each indicator and each reviewer's score.  

Complete your own review in your review table. 

Use the provided questions and scoring criteria to assist in completing your review. 

• Provide relevant evidence to support your score for each indicator. 
• Choose your score based on the provided scoring criteria. Scores will either be a binary score (meets or does not meet) or based on a 3-point scale. 

Select 'Save' to save your evidence and scores. Saving your progress allows you to complete the review in multiple sessions. 

Select 'Submit Review' when you have completed your review. All evidence fields and scores must be complete to submit your review. Once you have submitted your review, you cannot make any other updates.
