TABLE OF CONTENTS
Public collections can be searched for in the course catalog or accessed by their URL link. Because public collections do not require you to login, they are great for accessing resources, but will not track your progress.
Accessing a Public Collection as a Learner
As a learner, you do not need to login to access a public collection, but you can follow and save public collections to your account. Learners can also use the Course Catalog to discover other relevant public collections.
- Search the Course Catalog using keywords, tags, or filters.
- Narrow your search by selecting the 'Public Collections' filter.
- Select the collection you would like to save and select 'Follow'.
- Once you follow a collection, it will appear in your 'Collections' tab.
Viewing Collections & Collection Courses
- Select the 'Collections' tab on the left navigation menu.
- View the public and enroll collections that you have joined as a learner.
- Click on the collection image or select 'Visit' to view courses within the collection.
- Select courses within the collection by clicking on the title or copying the link using the link icon on the far right.
Sharing a Public Collection
Public collections can be shared with anyone using the URL link.
- Copy the link from the 'Collections' tab to share the entire collection.
- Users will have access to all of the resources shared within the public collection.
- Tip: Share resources with families or communities who do not have login credentials.
- To share an individual course within a public collection, copy the link for the course using the link icon in the course row instead of the link for the entire collection.
