TABLE OF CONTENTS


There are three user role types within Canopy; Leaner, Instructor, and Admin. Based on your role you may need to request permissions to have instructor or admin access. All users should request learner permissions. Refer to 'Permissions Guidance' to learn more. 



User Roles

Learner

  • Access professional learning through a course code, course catalog, or course invitation.
  • All K12 employees should request this permission. 

Instructor

  • Create professional learning experiences for your school or school system. 
  • Anyone who designs or leads professional learning for educators should request this permission. 

Admin

  • Access data and analytics across multiple instructors and courses. School-level admin only see their own school and system-level admin only sees data from their system. 
  • Only leaders who need to analyze data across multiple courses should request this permission.
