If you encounter an error message indicating that you need to finish previous lessons to proceed in the course or refresh to try again, it suggests that there may be at least one task from a prior lesson that has not been submitted.
This notification appears when the course instructor has activated a setting that requires learners to complete the course in chronological order. With this setting in place, learners cannot access a new lesson until all prior tasks have been successfully submitted.
To quickly locate the incomplete task, utilize the 'My Coursework' tab located in the left navigation menu. In 'My Coursework' and on the 'Incomplete Work' tab, you can easily expand any course, unit, and lesson to find any task that has not been submitted.
Note: The most commonly missed activities are discussion activities with a required number of replies and questions embedded in a video.
