Data Security Requirements

Thank you for submitting your organization’s information for the Louisiana Department of Education’s (LDOE’s) new Student Support Guide. In order to comply with LDOE’s data security requirements, any vendor that is collecting, storing, or transmitting confidential and/or restricted data is required to undergo an Information Security Review.

This typically involves the vendor providing LDOE with a copy of their SOC2 Type 2 report (if applicable) or completing the OTS Third-Party Information Security Questionnaire for review by our InfoSec Compliance team. When you submit your materials for inclusion in the Student Support Guide, staff from LDOE’s Office of Technology Services will be reaching out to you to undergo the review and receive final approval for inclusion in the Student Support Guide.
