A Guide Owner will need LDOE PLP permissions in Edlink to create and manage the RFAs. In order to be an assigned reviewer, the Guide Owner will need to request Super RFA permissions as well.

Requesting PLP Permissions

Access EdLink Security using your My.La credentials.

Select Permissions Request from the left navigation menu.

To request permissions for LDOE Super RFA and LDOE PLP make the following selections:

  • Permission Request Type - General User Access
  • Organization Selection - Louisiana State Department of Education
  • Application Selection - Canopy
  • Location Filter - State
  • Location Selection - Louisiana State Department of Education
  • Supervisor Selection - Choose your approving supervisor.
  • A pop-up will appear, where you will need to select 'LDOE Staff' to view the permission options.
  • Choose the LDOE PLP and LDOE Super RFA permission.
  • 'Submit' to send the request to the selected supervisor.
    • Once the supervisor approves the permission and EdLink syncs with Canopy you will have access to the Super RFA.

Once the Super RFA permissions have been approved and the EdLink and Canopy systems have synced, you will have access to create an RFA, be assigned as a reviewer, and complete reviews.
